Description - Montanov L is a natural, PEG-free, non-ionic O/W emulsifier derived from renewable coconut and sugar sources, renowned for its ability to create ultra-soft, lightweight emulsions with a luxurious feel. A 100% vegetable-origin ingredient with ECOCert approval, Montanov™ L offers green synthesis without solvents or preservatives—making it ideal for eco-conscious beauty brands. As a liquid crystal promoter, it forms biomimetic lamellar structures that support deeper hydration, enhanced active delivery, and long-lasting moisturization, while also helping reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL).
Montanov L is widely loved for its ability to craft ultra-white, silky emulsions, compatible with all oil types (plant, ester, mineral, silicone) and active ingredients, including makeup pigments. It offers excellent dermo-compatibility, making it suitable for sensitive skin formulations.

Application - Add to the heated oil phase (75°C) and combine with the heated water phase. Blend using high shear mixing until emulsion forms, then cool and add sensitive ingredients below 40°C. Ideal as a sole emulsifier or co-emulsifier (up to 60% oil phase).

How to Add: Melt in oil phase, blend with water phase while hot, stir until uniform emulsion forms.
