Application - Typically added to the heated oil or surfactant phase, Requires melting for proper dispersion. Best incorporated during the warm or hot phase (60–70°C) for uniform distribution
Solubility - Insoluble in water. Dispersible in surfactant systems or oil phases
pH Value - Stable in pH range 5.5 – 7.5
Melting Point - Approximately 60–65°C
Usage Rate - Recommended at 1–4%, depending on desired pearlizing effect
How to Add to Formulation:
Heat EGDS gently to melt (approx. 60–70°C).
Add to the heated surfactant base or oil phase while stirring.
Mix until evenly dispersed and pearlescence appears upon cooling.
Finalize with fragrance, actives, and pH adjustments if necessary.
