Description - Behentrimonium Chloride (INCI: Behentrimonium Chloride), also known as docosyltrimethylammonium chloride, is a cationic quaternary ammonium compound derived from colza (canola) oil. This EO-free, pre-neutralized synthetic polymer acts as a conditioning agent, emulsifier, and thickener in cosmetic formulations. It appears as a waxy, yellow solid with an activity of 79–81% active substances.
